Good news for Malaysians! :)
Apparently, if you noticed any open burning in the middle of the night, or any broken pipes in the wee hours of the morning, you may contact the Natural Resources and Environment Ministry because its hotline number will be operational 24-hours, beginning Monday (Sept 10).
This will make it easier for the public to make their grouses known. They can also use the hotline to channel any opinion or proposal regarding the management of their environment and to improve the quality of our service.

The 24-hour hotline number is 1800-88-2727.
Thanks.. it’s in my phonebook now :-)
BTW, here’s the National Poison Centre hotline if anyone needs it:

Hi Pelf,
Hope that our complaints through the hotline will be attended to seriously. Thanks for sharing the information.
Good news. We should care for our environment.
Good to know this. Travelling along the north-south highway, I do sometimes come across factories that ‘fart’ in the middle of the night. Sad that they may also pay off nosy authorities just so they can continue doing it.
